Our Legal Structure & Sacred Rights

A Living Document of Protection, Purpose, & Spiritual Freedom

Who We Are:

The Rainbow Bridge Church is a spiritual and educational organization established to serve the healing and liberation of all being - especially children, survivors, and seekers called to walk the path of remembrance.

We are in the process of formal incorporation as a religious nonprofit in the State of California and will operate in alignment with federal and state protections for faith-based organizations.

Our Legal Status

The Rainbow Bridge Church is being formed under California’s nonprofit religious corporation laws

We operate in accordance with the First Amendment of the US Constitution, which protects religious freedom and spiritual expression

Our sacraments, ceremonies, and teachings are guided by spiritual doctrine, not commercial intent

We are actively pursuing protections and frameworks that will allow us to offer plant medicine sacraments, ceremony, and rites of passage under the legal umbrella of a religious organization

We take this responsibility seriously and are in ongoing dialogue with legal professionals and interfaith allies working to uphold the sacred rights of emerging ministries like ours.

Our Sacred Rights

We affirm the following sacred rights as foundational to our practice:

  • The right to gather in spiritual community

  • The right to offer healing through prayer, movement, breath, and natural sacrament

  • The right to educate others in spiritual principles rooted in both science and spirit

  • The right to serve children and youth through spiritual training, not indoctrination

  • The right to reclaim and protect ancestral traditions - including those suppressed by colonization and systemic oppression

Legal Frameworks We Reference:

We draw wisdom and guidance from:

  • The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution

  • The Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA)

  • Ongoing case law regarding religious use of entheogens

  • Best practices from religious institutions using sacraments like ayahuasca, peyote, and psilocybin

  • Hawaiian and Indigenous frameworks that honor land, lineage, and ceremony as sacred law

We believe the path of the mystic, the voice of the child, and the intelligence of the Earth are all part of the same tradition.

Transparency & Accountability

We are committed to integrity in all we do.

As we grow, we will continue to share:

  • Our incorporation documents and organizational charter

  • Our ethical and safety frameworks for plant medicine and ceremony

  • The people and practices guiding our leadership and decision-making
